Akwaaba

Slow, sure, cheaper

Verified runners travel, buy, and deliver. Your money never moves until you say your order arrived. That is the whole idea, and every step of it is yours to inspect.

Your money rides in the shell: paid in, held by Walupi, and released only when your order reaches home.
1

Join a run

Pick an open run, describe what you want, and pay with MoMo. Your money is held safely. The runner cannot touch it.

2

Watch every step

The runner records each milestone with sealed photos and documents: the supplier receipt, the waybill, the arrival papers. Open every file, any time.

3

Confirm and release

When your order reaches you, confirm delivery and the money is released to the runner. Something wrong? Report it, and the money stays held until it is sorted.

Who the runners are

Nobody can just sign up to carry your money. Runners join by invitation, ops checks their Ghana Card against their MoMo name, and their inviter stakes their own reputation on the first fulfilments.

Every runner has a ceiling: the most buyer money they may hold at once. It grows only with clean, confirmed deliveries. Tap any runner's badge to see exactly why they hold it.

What "held" means

Walupi is not a bank. When you pay, your money is held by our licensed payment partner, tagged to your order. It is released to the runner only when you confirm delivery, refunded if the run is cancelled, and frozen the moment you report a problem.

No jargon, no small print: your money moves only on your word. Is my money safe?
